The challenge

Three constraints made this project harder than a standard landing page:

1. Strict brand guidelines

Chrysler's visual identity is non-negotiable. Every colour, typeface, spacing decision, and image treatment had to pass brand review. There was no room for creative deviation — the challenge was making the product feel exciting within a tightly controlled system.

2. ADA/NVDA accessibility compliance

The page had to work for every user — including those using screen readers. This meant semantic HTML structure, correct heading hierarchy, ARIA labels, sufficient colour contrast ratios, and fully keyboard-navigable interactions.

3. One month, zero precedent

This was a net-new page — no existing template to follow, no previous version to reference. Everything was designed and built from scratch under a tight deadline.

My approach

Before a single frame was designed, I mapped the full page structure against the buyer journey.

The Pacifica buyer isn't browsing casually — they're evaluating. They need to feel the brand, understand the product, trust the technology, and find a clear next step. Every section of the page was built to answer a specific question a buyer would have at that moment.

Hero → "What is this and why should I care?"
Vehicle listings → "What's available and at what price?"
Feature sections → "What makes this different?"
Safety + Technology → "Can I trust it?"
Newsletter CTA → "How do I stay informed?"

I then designed within Chrysler's brand system — using approved typography, colour palette, and imagery direction — before building the frontend in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap with full media query support for cross-device responsiveness.

Feature sections

Each feature section — Charging, Safety, Technology — follows a consistent split layout: full-bleed photography on one side, concise benefit copy and a clear CTA on the other.

The design decision here was deliberate: use the imagery to create emotion, use the copy to create clarity. The buyer feels the vehicle before they read about it.

Summary :

Delivered in full within one month — design and frontend build.

The page launched cross-platform without a single UI break across desktop, tablet, and mobile — a direct result of the responsive build using Bootstrap and custom media queries.

ADA/NVDA accessibility compliance was achieved across all interactive elements, meeting Chrysler's compliance requirements for the US market.

Brand consistency was maintained end-to-end — every asset, every component, every interaction reviewed against Chrysler's guidelines before shipping.
